With this frame on a 3" board,the overall dimensions are 34 1/4 x 22 1/4". The 3" board isthe standard size and normally ships in 24 hours.
A 3" board is designed for3" chess pieces, a 4" board is designed for 4" pieces, etc. Thesize is based on the tallest piece in the set. The majority of the chess pieceswe carry are for the standard 3" boards and we have a few smaller sets forthe smaller boards. If you have your own set of chess pieces, you can order aboard for sets up to 4.5".
